November has been declared Native American Heritage Month. The month is a time to celebrate rich and diverse cultures, traditions, and histories and to acknowledge the important contributions of Native people. It is also a suitable time to educate the general public about tribes and raise a general awareness about the unique challenges Native people have faced both historically and currently. It is also an opportunity to acknowledge the strength and resiliency of all tribal nations.

Lennon, fancy shawl dancer & Sarai, jingle dress dancer showcase their styles. Tony Duncan, world renown hoop dancer shares his talents with the crowd.
